Mother and Baby Conference 2024 – Day One

The conference’s focus is quality and performance management. The expected outcome of the conference is for establishments to have a common understanding of quality and performance management including definitions and learning experience from each other. This will support SJI and establishments with accounting for high quality results, measure outputs, outcomes and impact, and to justify funding decisions.

We share high expectations for the outcomes of this conference. We’ve developed this programme together since 2014, and almost ten years from implementation we are keen to explore how we can expand on the quality of our services.

We want to learn together what has worked, what has not worked – and the solutions for what has not worked! This will allow us to map out together the way forward, so we can build on our already existing achievements and ensure that our programme achieves its intended goal in contributing to reducing maternal and child mortality rate in-country.
