A St John’s Day Sermon from The Rector of Liverpool, Reverend Canon Dr Crispin Pailing

The 24th of June, the feast day of St John the Baptist, is a significant day in our St John Calendar. To mark the day, thousands of St John volunteers, staff, and members of the Order came together to celebrate the global work of St John.

The day allowed us all to reflect upon our people, our work, and our achievements, but also, importantly, to focus on our values and our dedication to community and devotion to service.

During this year’s St John’s Day ceremony at St Paul’s Cathedral in London, The Rector of Liverpool, Reverend Canon Dr Crispin Pailing, reflected on what our values – and our faith – can look like in action.
