This Volunteers’ Week 2023, I would like to thank the 200,000 dedicated St John volunteers around the world.
As we have seen through the stories shared this week across the world, our volunteers not only combine their own local expertise with excellent St John training in order to serve their communities, but they also gain valuable life-saving – and in some cases life-changing – skills through volunteering with St John; be that through improved levels of skills and confidence, new career pathway opportunities, leadership development or indeed, in saving a life.
“As we continue onwards with a clear focus on our shared Mission – to be a global leader in first aid and medical responses to community healthcare needs – we do so with renewed passion, enthusiasm, and inspiration from the generosity and hard work of our volunteers and all St John people across the globe who dedicate themselves to the Order’s work.”
Thank you to all our amazing volunteers for everything they do everywhere St John works for communities.
