Loving God,
The celebration of the Birth of Jesus at Christmas
reminds us that, for two thousand years,
those who live in darkness have seen a great light.
Help us to greet the birth of Christ with joy,
to live in the light of your truth,
and to share the good news of your love.
As we continue to keep the faith
and to work in the service of all humanity,
help us to know that we are witnessing
to the Light who has come into the world.
