Johanniter International (JOIN), the international network of charities affiliated to the Alliance of the Orders of Saint John, has published the very first European First Aid Guidelines. These have been developed by JOIN’s clinical working group with participants from several European JOIN members.

Johanniter International (JOIN) is the partnership of the four Orders of St John and their national charities.

It is with the greatest of sadness that we heard of the passing of our former Lord Prior and a Bailiff Grand Cross of our Order, Sir Malcolm Ross, following an acute illness.

Over recent weeks, Hong Kong has seen demonstrations which resulted in a number of injured people. While these events continue, Hong Kong St John Ambulance’s first aid teams and ambulances were deployed for duty, providing care for everyone in need of first aid and medical support without regard to their race, class or political views.

The Johanniter International (JOIN) Volunteer Swap programme continues growing and offers opportunities to an increased number of volunteers from all St John organisations.

The Order of St John has launched a new book to showcase its best kept “Treasures”. These carefully selected highlights from the Museum’s collection include both everyday objects and precious pieces that unravel St John’s nine hundred years of history; from its origins in caring for sick pilgrims in eleventh century Jerusalem, through to its modern-day role with St John Ambulance, the international health charity.
