    Starting the year with some good news as the St John Mother and Baby Programme running in sub Saharan Africa has received two new grants.

  • Funds raised in Hong Kong to support St John Associations

    The St John Ambulance Brigade in Hong Kong held a gala dinner on 15 October at Hong Kong InterContinental Hotel. Over 110 St John personnel attended including the new Prior of Priory of Hong Kong, Dr Chung Chin-Hung; and with the Lord Prior Sir Malcolm Ross and his wife Lady Suzie Ross as honoured guests.

  • Helping to save more lives in Guyana

    At the end of November, St John Guyana received a portable defibrillator when Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta, Viscount Roland de Rosiere visited.

  • City of Vienna supports maternal and child health in Zambia

    The Government of the City of Vienna is supporting St John Zambia’s Mother and Baby Programme through a development grant.

  • St John Zimbabwe new maternity waiting centre

    The long wait is finally over – St John Zimbabwe is happy to announce their new maternity waiting centre in Mount Hampden is completed and has officially opened!

  • St John Scotland visits Malawi

    Following their attendance at Grand Council in South Africa, the Lord Prior and his wife (Sir Malcolm and Lady Ross) the Sub Prior (Mr John Mah) and the Prior of Scotland and his wife (Major General Mark and Sue Strudwick), accompanied by the St John Scotland Executive Director (Angus Loudon) paid a short visit to St John Malawi on 27 and 28 May 2017.

  • Providing first aid for pilgrims in Sri Lanka

    During the pilgrimage season to Sri Pada, the Colombo Central Unit of St John Ambulance Sri Lanka set up several first aid and medical camps with the cooperation of teachers from Western Province Education Ministry and nurses from the Colombo National Hospital in late February.

  • St John International celebrates gift from the Patron’s Fund

    St John International is celebrating after receiving a £2,500 gift from The Patron’s Fund, the charitable fund set up to acknowledge the work of the charitable organisations for which Her Majesty, The Queen acts as a Patron, on the occasion of her 90th birthday.
