Since 1957, St John Ambulance has been a proud provider of first aid services in Papua New Guinea, holding the important position of the nation’s largest first aid training provider. In total, 5,092 individuals benefited from St John’s first aid training programmes last year.

On Wednesday 3rd July, we hosted a stewardship dinner at Windsor Castle in the presence of our Grand Prior, HRH The Duke of Gloucester. We were delighted to be joined by Precious Divala, Programme Officer, St John Malawi and Olivia Sheppard, one of 2023’s Sovereign Award winners, who shared their experiences with St John thus far.

My first Grand Council felt to me – as if I were a passenger standing on the platform with an express train that I had to catch racing past, but all the occupants hands were out willing to pull me on board. It was a huge privilege to have been a part of Grand Council 2024.
